Welcome to Applecross

We were up sharp for our road trip to Applecross. I drove as far as Inverness (the furthest since passing my test) and S took the final stretch including the scary (at dusk and foggy, Bealach Na Bar).

We have a lovely little Airbnb by the water, just along from the pub. We were a little startled to find this local stood quietly by the side of the road as we headed out for our supper.

Still full of the cold but hoping tomorrow will be better so I can ‘make merry’ with S on his birthday celebration.
