Lozarhythm Of The Day:
The Temptations - Lonely, Lonely Man Am I (1966)
The best known version of this, especially in the UK, is the Velvelettes' single from 1965, Lonely, Lonely Girl Am I, but the first to record it were the Temptations. Paul Williams took the lead vocal, recorded 27 December 1963 (55 years ago today) and overdubs were completed 3 August 1964, though it wasn't released until their album Gettin' Ready in 1966.
