Christmas Bread

This is special Icelandic Christmas bread "laufabrauð", which requires a lot of work to do, but is more like cookies than bread. The pattern is cut out with a knife and then the dough is deep fried. It's often eaten with smoked lamb. It is very nice.

It was a productive day, I went to an interesting seminar, talked to my mother, bought some more X-mas lights and solved a few problems at work. I learnt a lot of stuff too, among others a few tips and tricks in Windows 8.
