Four Become Two Again

Sad to say goodbye to daughter and son-in-law this morning, as it's been lovely having them here for the first Christmas in our new home.  They had a very long drive ahead of them, but have just phoned to say they are home safely, so we'll sleep soundly tonight:-)

While the sun shone, we went out for a short drive and then it was home again to try to finish up some of the leftovers.  I do like those scratch meals with bits of this and that:-)  Also managed to catch up on some recorded Christmas TV, as we haven't had the box on for the past few days!  Didn't miss it at the time either:-)

A quiet day tomorrow and then friends over for lunch on Saturday, so will have to think of something original to feed them!  Any ideas?
