Lunchtime

The most amazing thing happened today. One of the nurses came running into the office to tell me to grab my camera and go outside to the car park. I did and came face to beak with this gorgeous bird of prey who was busy lunching on a dead pigeon. I managed to get within about 6 foot of it and all the time it tucked in and kept a beady eye on me. How privileged I was to come so close to something so beautiful.
