Three French Hens

....... well, Warwickshire hens on the third day of Christmas, as we approached the Navigation Inn at Lapworth for lunch.

We were doing a circular walk from Packwood House via Baddesley Clinton (both National Trust, both very busy). Part of the route involved a series of locks along the Stratford upon Avon Canal as it dropped down to the Grand Union Canal (extra). A very horsey area in parts (another extra).

This evening, to the centre of Birmingham for a concert at Symphony Hall. (Last extra). We parked at The Mailbox and walked to Brindley Place along the Canal. Whisper it, but Birmingham City Centre is looking better than Manchester, on tonight’s showing at least.
