A New Getting Started Guide

Just a quick update with a small but important addition to the site.  In the run up to the New Year, traditionally a time when we get the greatest influx of new members to the site, we’ve just published a handy new guide (it can be accessed from the Help page) to help people get started with their journal.  

While it is mainly aimed at new users, we also think it’s a useful reminder for anyone that uses the site. While we appreciate that the holiday season is a time for families and friends, if you have a chance to have a look we’d love to know what you think.
 
We’d also really appreciate you sharing this with anyone you know that is thinking of starting a journal. You can do this by word of mouth, of course, but we’ll also be using our Facebook and Twitter channels to announce the new guide and the best way for existing members to help us attract new members would be to share or re-tweet our posts, if you have these social media accounts.  

If you are members of any other photographic groups, it would be brilliant if you could make them aware of Blipfoto.  As we’ve said before, new members are really important to the continuing sustainability of Blipfoto.
