CHRISTMAS DAY

a free moment to Blip!!!!

Today we were serving Christmas lunches at the local hospice. As it’s our 5th year we are getting quite used to getting on with it!!

#Tables laid, crackers out, serving wine debated!!! and we were ready to take orders
# O found it strange not being in the kitchen and gradually edged his way in :)))) by the end of the day he was in!!! #Mum did a splendid job of keeping the dishwasher loaded and cleared. It was busy, exhausting but so worthwhile and we’re enjoyed the lunch too.
###We were home by 4 for some presents round the tree. Grandan joined us too and we then chilled for the rest of the day enjoying our Christmas buffet curtsey of Mum and Mrs Waitrose!!!

Thankful for....our health and a chance to soften the edges of others distress.

Every year someone touched your heart a bit more...This year I met a lovely couple he was in the hospice and she had just been discharged from hospital after discovering she had kidney failure. It was great to be able to offer her hope as I told J’s story.
