Heart of Steel

Currently situated in Sheffield's Meadowhall shopping centre, the heart of steel is set to be part of a larger installation The Steel Man. The Man will be on a scale equivalent to The Angel of the North and will overlook the M1 motorway.

To support the project (and The British Heart Foundation) you can pay to have your name engraved on the heart.

Today I took my mum to see her name and my dad's name on the heart along with the date of their wedding anniversary. Luckily we bought a magnifying glass as the engraving was very small font.
