Out Again

There's one thing I can say about #1 Daughter and S-i-L, they don't let the children sit for hours in front of screens or lounging around with toys! (Maybe that was 2 things!) We had Christmas Day in the house but today we're back out again to the play park, Graves this time.

Unfortunately the small animals enclosure was closed but, no worries, they were plenty of other energetic things to do. The young generation amused the children while the older generation adjourned to the Rose Garden Café for a much-needed sit and latte.

The man was saddened today to get an email saying one of his college friends had died last week. There's no good time to face bereavement but it must have been so difficult to see all the cards coming in, as ours did, addressed to both of them.
