MV Isle of Arran, Arran as Background
9.8C with plenty of bright sunny sunshine. Moderate WNW/W/SSW breeze.
Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour and had a wander round the old quay. Then we carried on along Hall Street and the shore side of the park and Kilkerran road. Just past the mile marker I noticed a CalMac ferry approaching the channel by Davaar island and by the time I was near the Goldsmith's house I decided to try the zoom on my new camera while the ferry was still in the channel.
We walked on out the NATO refuelling jetty then came back the same way then along the street side of the park until we got to town then we went back down to the harbour. The ferry was the MV Isle of Arran, and by the time we got to the harbour she had tied up on the inside of the new quay. Ayress was on the other side by the linkspan, taking on wood.

Continued with the Digital Humanities podcast I started to listen to yesterday, then listened to:
What does game playing teach us? Free Thinking gets out the playing cards and the board games as Shahidha Bari and guests including Bobby Seagull consider the value of play, competitiveness and game theory.
I had time for most of Runrig's Mara too, before we got home.
