The spire of wisdom

I was out and about in Glasgow today and snapped this blip from Kelvingrove Park looking onto Glasgow University. I think this is an example (possibly a bad one) of an iconic Glasgow view.

I just read about the university - it first opened in 1451 though in the East End of the city!!!! Now it's gone all fancy and sits in the heart of the ever-so-posh West End :)
