going up an ice lock

Very cold temps here today. So going to the dog park was iffy, but I'm glad I did. The creek is nearly frozen solid, but still some open spots near the many mini falls. Here is a female mallard heading upstream. In the extra is Laney  "walking on (frozen) water" with her foot pads and claws fully deployed!
