Costa Porty

Blue sky and sunshine in Edinburgh today - and it was balmy.

 We had errands and chores to do, but by 4 o'clock we were on the promenade at Portobello. It was just starting to get dark,  and the light went quickly, but still there were lots of people out enjoying the evening. Cyclists, dog-walkers, families, joggers, solitary strollers ....... it felt more like Estoril than Edinburgh.

We stopped at Miro for coffee and cake.  By 5.30, when we were walking back,  the cafe lights were casting a lovely warm glow on the empty outside tables.  This time last year we had snow on the ground.
