We love hedgehogs!

A promise fulfilled - finally! I took my nieces to St Tiggywinkles animal hospital. We had a lovely day hearing about polecats, meeting injured hedgehogs who retire there, saw a glorious regal fox and many more animals. When hedgehogs break a limb they get put in casts (google it for some cute pictures) and then strengthen their muscles by swimming... hedgehog physiotherapy. They also have 28 red kites going through post-injury rehabilitation. Hollie announced to her mum that we’d seen a ‘deer with one leg’ running about. As her mum tried to picture that we reminded Hollie that it was actually a deer with ‘one leg missing’...It’s a brilliant place, well worth a visit and supporting.
