Christmas in Havana, Cuba

I spent Christmas on a walking tour in Havana. The people are so friendly over here. It's sad to see how poor they are though. As a tourist I feel conflicted, but I know tourism also brings in money and most people seem to be happy with the tourists roaming around. The city is very safe they say and honestly I never felt unsafe walking around. Just conflicted, because walking around with an expensive camera while they don't even have money to buy a bread didn't feel good.
