2018 Thursday — Sad Day
The celebration today of Scott’s life at the church and at the cemetery was very emotional.
We were so overwhelmed with all that the U.S. Military did to honor Scott. A team of Veterans holding American Flags and saluting, lined the sidewalk as we exited the church and then on Harley motorcycles escorted us the mile and a half from the church to the National Cemetery. At the gravesite the military did the 21 gun salute, played Taps, and presented Scott’s parents with the U.S. flag.
He was a unique, creative, and generous human.
He is a favorite uncle to our grandchildren.
He died in his sleep of a heart attack. He was 51.
