Retrospective blip!

I took this photo and forgot to post it on Friday.
There were 20 goldfinches in the rowan tree this morning when we were having our breakfast, along with several more on the niger seed feeders. A small group like this  is called a "Charm of goldfinches".
We set off on our 3 mile circular walk, punctuated with a coffee stop, after a day of recovery yesterday from the driving to and from Bristol, having spent the day with our family.
Young children are so full of endless energy!
They are always excited to see us.
On the last mile of our walk I spotted my first snowdrops on the grass verge. Photo in extra.
In the afternoon I was figuring out how to use my new "Trail Camera" which hubby had given me for Christmas.
It is a bit like a security camera only it needs to be situated in the garden in a spot where it will take photos of the birds and other wildlife which come along. It will also take night shots, so we may see a fox. Once the hedgehog has stopped hibernating we may also find out exactly where he goes about at night.
All very technical, so we await the results.
