The Pill at Fremington Quay

The washing done, bags ready to be put away until the next trip. So I took a drive to Fremington Pill, as for a change I was going to catch a high tide. The weather was not in my favour, dull and damp. The image is where the Pill joins the River Taw at the Quay. The old railway bridge is now on the Tarka Trail, and used to link Barnstaple to Bideford. Back to Barnstaple to fill up with diesel, and get in supplies,  and now back home in the warm ;-)
