Christmas Walks

Mr YB and I have been trying to get out for a few walks.  Managed one today along the Derwent Walk (an old railway track) and saw this decorated tree.  Maybe it is in memory of someone.  We did another one on Boxing Day with our son - this time we walked along the south bank of the River Tyne starting at Dunston and finishing almost in Newcastle.  I always love the sight of the bridges.  

Great to get out.  Mind you the weather is not bad for December.  Hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas break.  I can't remember what day of the week it is or what the date is!
