New toy!

So I treated myself to a X2 converter. It's just a Kenko one as I knew it would be aaaages until I could afford a decent longer lens. I wasn't getting my hopes up as it had mixed reviews!
It didn't arrive until late yesterday which meant I only had a very brief time to try it out this morning before work.
Crappy light too but here's the photo from my Tamron 16-300mm at full length with the converter. The extra is it at full length without.
Can't wait to be about to try it out properly!!
