Christmas day lunch

Woke up really late, around 9ish.

Years ago I'd have already ripped though a pile of presents and would be sitting on the floor surrounded by wrapping paper and toys waiting for grandparents and uncles to arrive. We'd have a massive lunch with all the trimmings and then the adults would fall asleep watching Raiders of the Lost Ark. I loved it.

Christmas is a quieter affair nowadays, just mum, dad and I but it's still a special day. We opened amazingly thoughtful presents, ate a massive lunch, followed by homemade apple pie and a ton of quality street whilst ploughing through Christmas tv specials and our fave Eastenders.
