Orchid

The family went for a walk late this afternoon, to one of my favorite haunts.  The lighting wasn't ideal for bird photos, which was a shame, because I had some good opportunities with a Red-shouldered Hawk.  So I am going with this orchid from the Conservatory for my blip.  It is a gorgeous specimen right now, with many large blooms on each stem.  It felt so good to be outside in the sunshine.
