Big skies

The land on the east coast is quite flat which allows big open skies. This is looking out across the North sea/channel towards France although can't be seen today. The sea is unusually calm for this time of the year, that worries me because desperate people trying to get here from France will chance their luck in tiny boats and it is such a dangerous journey, huge tidal rips and the busiest sea lane in the world. At night who is going to be able to see a little boat out there.
