Down by the riverside

After a trip to the very quiet supermarket, I drove over to the next village for a walk along the river.  I would normally walk but the fields I have to cross are so gloopy it just seemed easier to drive.

I've added several extras, including a lunchtime visitor to the garden.

I didn't comment much last night because I was glued (again) to the wonderful programme about the four dames, Joan Plowright, Maggie Smith, Judy Dench and Eileen Atkins.  If you haven't seen it, it really is worth finding on catch-up.  They are such terrible gigglers and it was infectious.  We also watched Philomena, equally worth watching.
