Snow in the Woods

More snow late yesterday, maybe a 1/2", tempted me into the woods looking for interesting branch patterns. However, in the end I preferred this scene using a drainage channel  to lead to a fallen tree. Snow, it is said, simplifies things photographically, nevertheless I think my woodland shots need practice!
