Ipanema

The famous beach was a trifle busy today as the new year visitors mingled with the locals in high summer temperatures.   First time at Arpoador Point this visit and it always raises the spirits.   The new refurbished hotel of the same name and place will open on Saturday and we may pass by! 

We spent a few hours at our desks before venturing out . . . still relaxing.
