A Night at the Museum

Last night I was at Hampden Park to see some grassroots clubs from the west of Scotland being awarded their Quality Mark club accreditation. Great recognition for all the hard work and time that volunteers give to provide opportunities for kids to play football. Before the awards we were down in the Scottish Football Museum and I bumped into this big chap. Would like him as one of my centre halves.

When we were kids we would go round to each others house and have subbuteo tournaments. My favourite team to use were Sheffield Wednesday. Nowadays kids sit in their own house and play FIFA online against people from all over the world.

Mind you FIFA is probably a lot easier...you would need pretty strong fingers to flick this guy across the pitch!
