Olympics over lake Union

Did not have to wear any rain gear out for a walk today!  There was even a bit of sun on the snow on the Olympics we can’t always see.    

Getting ready to (Finally!) head for the island… word has it from a friend on the island that the power actually went on last night!   We don’t know about our place for sure as there is no-one close around to check..but we’re thinking positive..no one seems to have seen a tree on our line,.  And the outage map gives conflicting info.  But I know there is no internet so I’ll be using the phone and will try to report but probably not much else.    We’ll be there for New Year’s Eve and some family will arrive the next day so we’ll celebrate then.   I’ve actually enjoyed this slow time in the city and think we are feeling a lot better…so worth it.  but enuf is enuf.   :-)
