Trio of Tilseds

We visited Poole for a Christmas break catchup with the Tilsed clan.

We had a great meal out and catchup with Ian’s mum, brother and sister-in-law. But can you believe it, along with my lovely steak and chips in a very tasty mushroom and bacon sauce came some sprouts! Yuck! I’d noted the promise of green veg and should have suspected those pesky green critters would have been included at Christmas time. Thankfully there were plenty of other green veggies for me to enjoy whilst I pointedly banished the offending sprouts to the side of the plate.

My sister in law is just getting into crochet as she is making the most of a massive stash left by her nan who passed away earlier in the year. She has just begun in some granny squares so we had a good chat about our crafty plans for next year.
