Happy New Year From Bali!

The last day of 2018 finds us in beautiful Bali.  We took a tour up to the mountains to a beautiful lake with a stunning temple complex on its shore.  We also visited a typical Balinese family compound, saw rice paddies, enjoyed tea and Balinese snacks at a beautiful place with terraced gardens, and learned quite a bit about the culture.  My goodness, what traffic!  Hundreds of thousands of mopeds and motorcycles everywhere, but such beautiful people -- so gracious and generous in sharing their lifestyle with we tourists.  Wishing you all a very happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year with lots of love from Bali.
