Autumnal
Not much in the mood for company, I ducked out of a small party bound for The Whangie, and took to the bike instead, trying to wear out the adrenalin with a run to Loch Lomond.
Foolishly I didn't take anything to eat, and half way back on the return trip, I almost ground to a halt in Dumbarton and had to raid a mini-market for some bread, cheese and crisps. The outward journey was under two hours; but it took me three hours to get home.
