Old Friends

We travelled up to London today to see inthe New Year with our old friend, Chris. This afternoon another old friend, Linda, came over with her husband, another Chris, for a catch-up.

Tess, Chris and Linda worked together for Thomas Cook in Harrods inthe early 70s when Tess and I first met (at a party). I was still at Uni at the time and managed to get holiday jobs in Harrods, first in the Accounts Dept then in the Wines and Spirits Dept on the shop floor so we often spent our lunch hours together in Hyde Park.

There was much reminiscing and laughter as this blip of the three of them (Linda to the left and Chris to the right) testifies.
