Peoples' Palace

Went down to Glasgow visiting again and took the opportunity to visit the famous institution that is the Glasgow Peoples' Palace and Winter Gardens. Glad we did because they close today till Easter 2019 in the case of the Peoples' Palace and with no opening date for the Winter Gardens. Very very sad to see this and the state of the plants inside. Lost count of the times we took the kids here when they were young and the cynic in me is expecting a blaze to break out in the building sometime in the next few months. The story of the Peoples Palace and what it means is well documented and it would be an insult to the people of Glasgow if this does not open up again and the contents made available for viewing in the same setting as they were these last hundred years or so.
