Merry Christmas!

Despite my misgivings about the 'modern' Christmas period, there's no doubting at all that the gathering of friends, the consumption of an array of fine food and the sharing of small gifts is a fun time.  

The weather was distinctly below par but that didn't matter in the slightest.  Thanks to L & M for sharing this special time, to S & J for keeping us grounded and to everyone else for making it a delightful occasion.

PS This is the dessert I made........I think I'll be making it again at some point..........delicious even if a little calorie heavy!
