Hot, hot, hot

It's been getting very warm this last couple of days.  When I saw this down the garden my first reaction was to think that it was somehow stuck or trapped but then, he wasn't flapping or squawking and didn't' appear to be distressed.  After a couple of minutes he gathered himself together and hopped quite happily into the bushes.  I think he was just trying to cool himself down.

I can't be sure, but I'm hoping he is the survivor from these 2 .  I know one of them never made it to being a fledgling as I found him under the nest, barely with any feathers.  Not sure if he fell out of the nest or was pushed out, but there was only one wee body.
