When life gives you lemons...

Yesterday, we received some absolutely shit news about a student's health, and it really coloured the whole day. It's a hard one to get your head around - the duality of being in that space, but also continuing with normal day-to-day routines and the preparations for Christmas. You almost put it out your mind and then the most mundane of things causes you to be thrown back to it. Such is life. We can only hope  for peace for all concerned.

So today did give me lemons, both literally and figuratively.
