Sailing into 2019

Happy New Year one and all.....my new years resolution is to get back to blipping regularly!

After the festivities and excesses, it was lovely to get out in the sunshine for a nice walk this afternoon. I think e eryone had the same idea, it was so busy along the canal and in the park.

I had had a marathon cooking session this morning, lots of minced steak bases made to be turned into lasagna, chilli, shepherds pie, cottage pie etc. Made a chicken and bacon pasta bake for tonights dinner too, which is now bubbling away in the oven and some chicken noodle soup too.

Once the sun started to go down, it definitely felt a colder an of late.....and more to come by the sound of the forecast, but thats fine by me, as long as its not raining!!!

I liked the sunlight on the sails of the little boats on the Flash today, they seemed appropriate for my first blip of a new year.
