Take Me With You

‘Take me with you’

Are words to live by

As you speak them to the Lord

 

They indicate a firm belief

In power and might

And reliance on the Word

 

‘Take me with you’

Indicates a partnership,

A relationship going forward.

 

A prayer like phrase

That can liberate

And keep your soul moored.

 

Sojourner and glorifier

That is the calling

Love, mercy, to be adored.

 

The aim is to emulate

His steadfastness

Our weapons: prayer & His word

 

And finally

But not the least –

To be quite taken by the Lord.
