Hobbies

We took the dogs to the north of the island again today. On the way we saw so many people out walking with their dogs, some out boating even some swimming in the sea. This beach was no exception. The Kite Surfer must have been given this kit for Christmas. He was struggling a little bit with it. He blew and surfed all the way down to the other end of the beach (which is quite a long way) and then patiently walked back to our end again with the kite still connected to him. then he started again. Whilst we were there we lost count of the number of times we watched him do this. Good to see him keep going, even though the wind was jolly cold.
Then it was back home to make supper. Mrs BR's dad is staying and sadly he has been awarded cold for the New Year. He really isn't very happy and is struggling a bit. When you are 90 I think its much worse. Hopefully he will improve tomorrow.
