We slept late after the ceilidh last evening, and had a lazy morning.  In the afternoon we were heading down to our daughter for a meal, but called in to wish the Garriochs a happy new year.  Spent a short time with them, and took some photos of Magnus, then drove down to Cali's.

We had a lovely traditional steak pie meal, with soup (made by Karen!!!) and profiteroles to finish.  Then relaxed watching TV for the rest of the evening, only with a break for a cheeseboard, as is traditional in our family at Christmas and New Year.  

We had a lovely day, but I am whacked now, and need my bed!
