Roots

I can’t get over the roots of trees like the Moreton Bay Fig trees and such like which are all over Sydney. I came across this one in Tunks Park near where I live.

But the ones I know best are the ones that have destroyed my family home. The roots grew under the foundations, the branches crossed the street- a main road and still the council still will and would not let us cut it back. The house had been sold and the buyer thought they could extend but no the roots are still destroying the foundations.
