Ambling.....

......our local wetlands were a picture this morning as we ambled along. Birds flitting from flax flowers, both the red and green are in flower, sounds of coots feeding their young and ducks talking to one another drifted by in the air. Quite a few walkers were out in the heat like us and even some joggers went by. Lovely to be out in the calm of the morning.

This afternoon was another matter, gusty, hot nor'west winds, we reached 31C, the humidity is high and as I type at 9.51pm and darkness creeps in, the windows and doors are flung wide, it's still very muggy and ever so hot. 

For those who are interested I've put of yesterday's blip, already a day behind and the year has hardly started.....surely it's got to get better ;)
