Was out for a New Year wander and it really is as if nature has lost all its clothes; everything is bare. Lively though, with the boidies choipin’ all the livelong day and some pretty fat buds showing on the trees, so a lot of energy was stored up from the hot summer. Sometimes it’s good not to want to label and quantify and classify, but instead to stand back and enjoy the woodland in its entirety.
