The Natural World

Mother Nature certainly looked good today when I went out for a wander with the camera. I went with a purpose...to find some catkins/pussy willows. I did eventually find some but they’re way behind the ones I’ve seen on other blips and didn’t photograph well with the wide lens...so I’ll leave them for another day.

My main pic was taken alongside the A1, I liked the clouds and blue sky behind the buds...a sign that spring will come round again no matter what winter might throw at us over the coming weeks. I love the exceedingly short focus distance of my wide lens and I took this shot just to test it out...turned out my favourite shot!

My extras are one of my favourite local gnarly old tree and the teasels up the drive which were bathed in sunshine as I headed home.
