Madonna

Living near to Stoke on Trent (or The Potteries if you are local) I have seen the closure of many fine potteries. This Art Deco figure "Madonna" was made by a company called W.R. Midwinter established around 1910. This figure went into production in 1920. Like so many others, the pottery is long gone but examples of their work thankfully survive.
