A proper sign.

This hand painted sign is on a wall, at the bottom of Wyle cop, in Shrewsbury and is a listed piece of history, within the town.

Lington cyclecars were made by Lington Engineering Company, of
Bedford and made a 10hp, twin cylinder model, only in 1920, which
gives you a good idea of when this sign was painted !

Velocette motorcycles, of Hall Green, Birmingham, closed in February
1971 and my apprentice friend, Dave, bought one of the very last
Venom Clubmans that they produced, brand new, from the factory.
He came off it, on the steep hill into Aberystwyth, a couple of years later
and sold it soon after. I bet he wished that he hadn't, now, as they are worth serious money ! He owns Shrewsbury Honda centre, which he set up a long time ago, so can probably afford to buy another, if he 
wished !
