My birthday.
J & M came round for coffee in the morning: M brought cheese scones shaped into letters spelling out my name! A lovely and unusual birthday gift.
I spent much of the day on the phone to family and friends, which was nice.
This is our second attempt at a sourdough loaf - we used more white flour this time, & it's not quite as heavy and is v tasty.
