All Packed Away

I’m sure Christmas lights have a mind of their own.  They tangle as soon as they are released from the box or removed from the tree when put away, they never sit back correctly in the packaging they came in, especially as the plastic/cardboard slots purposely designed for them to slot into, wear or break after one use.  Then, when one finally manages to approximately get them back into the packaging, the top never closes and the minute you let it go, it lifts and the wires and lights start creeping out the box again!
Or is it just me?
 
If anyone is interested, I have added an extra to yesterday’s entry.  B and I had an entertaining experience going to see the firework display over Cromer Pier yesterday.  To say it was freezing cold and blowing a gale straight off the sea is an understatement…and thinking back now to how we struggled with numb hands to open tripods, set up the camera whilst the wind was howling and spray was being blown at us, is actually quite amusing now that I’m back in the warm.   The resulting photo of the effect of the wind on the fireworks was fascinating though, hence the extra, do go back a page if you want to have a look.
