A lovely white frosty day today.   As it was frosty we walked to the marsh via Hadrian's Wall path as guessed the mud would be frozen.  This track is extremely muddy during the winter, its not too bad in the summer time when it gets busy with people from all over the world walking the 84 mile long trek.  Incidentally, its not all flat like here, lots of uphill sections so I believe
